All of our builds start with a brand new, out of the crate GM Performance Parts engine block. Every block is thoroughly inspected and CNC blueprinted to ensure flawless performance. With over 35 years of experience you can be sure that you are receiving an engine from one of the nations premier engine builders.

The block and main caps are fully hand finished. Weber Racing Equipment lets no little detail overlooked making sure any flaw that may have made it out of GM's factory does not make it to you

This is a choice far superior to most other company's entry level rods. We have used these rods in engines making over 1000 RWHP turning over 7,000 RPM!!!
Speed Pro Performance Rod and Main Bearings
For those pushing your engines to the edge, we do offer upgrades to Calico coated ACL main and rod bearings.
Dura Bond Cam Bearings
Factory cam bearings are removed as soon as we receive the new block. The bearings are then replaced upon assembly. This assures that all oil galleys are properly flushed when we jet wash the block after machining process are complete.
Dura Bond Cam Bearings are 1 piece heavy duty bearings. This eliminates any chance of bearing surface interruptions.
Fatigue life of the bearing is nearly doubled with micro-babbit, chill cast, and burnished construction.

Rings are file fit per application and intended use.
Wiseco is a long time leader in the piston industry. With some of the markets leading engineers designing each piece, these Wiseco pistons are sure to outlast any part of the engine!
Fully precision balanced rotating assembly
All balancing completed in house. We balance your assembly according to actual weights of the actual parts being used in your engine. We do not use any generic weights or measures.
Main bores align honed.
This process should be done to ANY performance engine. This ensures proper main bore sizes. This is a part of our blueprinting procedure.
Main caps are also detailed and finished by hand.
Each main cap is stamped per its work order for quality control.
CNC Bore and Hone w/ Torque Plate
We use our RMC CNC machine to achieve precision bore size. The torque plate mimics distortion caused from head fastener torque. This ensures a perfectly round cylinder.
The bores are then plateau honed for the best possible ring surface.

Deck Block
Even though these are new engine blocks, we ensure a perfectly flat head mating surface. We have had new blocks with as much as a .018 difference on the head mating surface!!!! This is vital to preventing head gasket failure. We do offer block and head o-ring services for forced induction and high cylinder pressure applications.
Once desired deck height is accomplished each block is stamped with the deck height.
Engine jet washed and flushed before assembly.
After the machining process is complete, all engines are jet washed. This ensures that all debris from the machining process is out of the engine.
We make sure every engine is 100% free of any dirt or debris prior to engine assembly.

All coolant and oil galley plugs installed on your new engine
We make sure to go the extra mile and make sure that all of your coolant and oil galley plugs are installed before your engine ships. We also provide new head and block dowels to ease your engine build. This eliminates the chance of missing a freeze plug or oil galley plug which could result in catastrophic engine failure.
